Teaching
Pandit Nirmalya Dey is a committed and consummate teacher. In his own dhrupad gurukul in Delhi he teaches students on a one-to-one basis in the guru-shishya parampara, which is the Indian tradition of teaching based on the master-disciple long-term relationship. In this way, he continues to transfer the knowledge he received from his masters.
Nirmalya Dey has also taught in renowned institutions, such as the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts, in the University of Delhi as a visiting lecturer, and in the Shriram Bharatya Kala Kendra, a premium institution of performing arts in Delhi.
